Nothing much changes in this volume, it is a little more solid though. Seems to at times shoot off on another direction, shoot em up bang bang then all of a sudden sitting around a fire in a village gathering intel on legends.... I have followed this series through the years from volume one. Pretty good ones in it through the years, but a one week, sometimes less of nothing but daily gun fighting though out the volume is pretty boring these days. The series needs a little more substance, and the volumes need to increase in page count to around 450 - 500 on average.Product details

Book was interesting read it in a few days couldn't put the book down for a minute, great story ~ great writer, Thanks.
Crimson Waters was full of action in keeping with the Deathlands tradition. Our gang of six get in deep trouble right from the start and trouble stays with them throughout the story. The cold hearts are mean and cause our hero's a lot of trouble but our hero's fight harder and smarter and a new danger is always around the corner. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in "Crimson Waters". I give it 5 stars.
This read was just...OK. I have read Deathlands since the beginning, and I have watched it slowly go downhill. Although there have been some pleasant suprises in the last couple of years, this isn't one of them. It was something to read though...
This is another really good installment in the series. It has a good storyline and keeps you interested throughout the whole book.
I thought it was a good story but i thought it ended oddly but it was still a good story iam looking forward to the next installment in the series
Enjoyed the book, glad they added the boy.been reading this series since 1995 a best friend turned me on to them.wish the first ones would be added to the collection.
